Vitamin D (liquid)
Vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin, is formed in the skin under the influence of ultraviolet light. But this happens as long as the sun is sufficiently high in the sky, which is only the case in the summer months between about 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Outside this period, the amount of UV-B is too low for sufficient vitamin D production in our skin. In winter, the skin doesn't produce any vitamin D at all and therefore we are dependent on sufficient intake with food.
Convenient Liquid Form
This pure Vitamin D product from Thorne is in convenient liquid form. The addition of a small amount of Vitamin E keeps it protected from oxidation.
