iDEAL Is Becoming Wero
You’ve probably read about this elsewhere, but just to be sure, we’re sharing it here as well:
This year, iDEAL will be replaced by Wero, a European online payment system. All Dutch banks will transition to this system. Wero is already being used in various European countries. This makes things much easier.
The transition will happen step by step. You’ll already see the name iDEAL | Wero and both logos side by side. By 2027, the iDEAL brand will disappear.
Do You Need to Do Anything?
No. As a customer, nothing will change for you except the name and the logo. The transition will happen automatically.
