Vitamin B3 niacinamide (nicotinamide, niacin with an amide group attached to it) is a water-soluble vitamin and plays a role in the production of two co- enzymes in the body, which are involved in more than 200 biochemical reactions.
Vitamin B3 is important for the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and a large number of hormones, neurotransmitters and enzymes and the energy production in the cells.
