Vitamin B12 1000 mcg with Folate
Vitamin B12 and Folate (folic acid) work closely together in the body. Separately, they are much less effective. This Vitals product contains 1000 micrograms of B12, in the form of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin (also called: dibencozide) and 500 micrograms of Folic acid (in 5-MTHF form).
Well absorbable
The forms of B12 and Folate used in this product are the biologically active forms (also known as co-enzymatic). They are natural forms (natural as opposed to synthetic) known to the body. They no longer need to be converted and therefore absorbability is high.
Who for?
In particular elderly people, whose B12 intake decreases slowly with age, but also vegetarians and vegans (B12 in food is of animal origin) can easily get deficiencies.
B12 and Folic acid play a role in, among other things, the functioning of the immune system, the nervous system and blood formation.
B12 and folic acid play a role in the immune and nervous system and in blood function, for example.
