Methyl-Guard Plus
Methyl-Guard Plus is a formula to support normal homocysteine metabolism and contains vitamins B2, B6, B12, folic acid and Betaine Anhydrous (TMG). The metabolism of homocysteine is called methylation. When this methylation process does not work properly, homocysteine levels become too high which is unfavorable for good health.
Concentrated
Methyl-Guard Plus contains higher amounts of 5-MTHF (the active form of folic acid), pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (active B6) and methylcobalamin (active B12) than the original Methyl-Guard. Thorne has also added riboflavin 5'-phosphate (active form of vitamin B2) for even better support of homocysteine metabolism.
The original Methyl-Guard is still available.
