Methyl Guard

Methyl-Guard Plus is a formula to support normal homocysteine metabolism and contains vitamins B6, B12, folic acid and Betaine Anhydrous (TMG). The metabolism of homocysteine is called methylation.

When this methylation process does not work properly, homocysteine levels become too high which is unfavorable for good health.

Balanced Formula

Folic acid (as L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate), vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamine), and betaine (trimethylglycine) recycle homocysteine to the amino acid methionine. Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (the active form of vitamin B6) helps convert homocysteine into cysteine and taurine.
