Vitamin D 1000
Vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin, is formed in the skin under the influence of ultraviolet light. But this happens as long as the sun is sufficiently high in the sky, which is only the case in the summer months between about 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Outside this period, the amount of UV-B is too low for sufficient vitamin D production in our skin. In winter, no vitamin D is produced in the skin at all and we are therefore dependent on sufficient intake with food.
Bones, Muscles and Immune System
Vitamin D has long been known as a support for healthy bone density and strong muscles. However, scientific research has also assigned a critical role to vitamin D3 for its contribution to a normal functioning immune system.
Small capsules
The small capsules are easy to ingest and because of the dosage of 25 mcg per capsule, a daily dose of 75 mcg can be taken conveniently spread throughout the day.
