Catalyte: an electrolyte formula for athletes
Catalyte is a formula for athletes and contains taurine, vitamins and minerals.
This electrolyte formula helps to replenish vitamins and minerals lost through perspiration. It has a pleasant lime-lemon flavor, is low in calories and contains no artificial sweeteners and caffeine.
Production of transpiration and mineral concentrations can vary from person to person, Catalyte is formulated with the average ratio of sodium in sweat and a mixture of potassium, calcium and magnesium to support lost electrolytes. These substances are lost through exercise during perspiration and are efficiently replenished with Catalyte.
Zinc has been added, a mineral that is also lost through perspiration, but is rarely found in other electrolyte products. The amino-acid taurine also has been added.
NSF certified for sports
This product has the U.S. NSF mark of approval for sportsmen. It is completely pure and guaranteed doping-free.
Thorne Shaker bottle
To properly mix the powder with water, almond milk or any other beverage of your choice, it is best to use a Shaker. We have a nice and sturdy Shaker bottle from Thorne in our assortment. Very convenient on the go as well!
The sturdy cup has a capacity of 600 ml and is made of BPA-free plastic. The screw-on lid has a lockable drinking and pouring spout and the product also contains a (loose) metal blender ball.
Replenishment on hot days
On hot days when we are perspiring more than usual, Thorne Catalyte can be beneficial. Not just for athletes, especially the elderly are at risk of electrolyte deficiency during high temperatures. Because dissolved Catalyte is fluid, it is also easy to ingest.
