Orthiflor Zwanger contains the so-called Ecologic Panda, consisting of the bacterial strains Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium lactis and Lactococcus lactis. Designed for use during pregnancy.
The contents of a sachet should be dissolved in lukewarm liquid before use. This revives the bacteria that have been put into hibernation so they can be kept longer. If they were released into the stomach acid in their dormant state, many of the bacteria would not survive.
