New from Life Extension: TMG 500 (Trimethylglycine) Powder
Trimethylglycine (TMG), also known as glycine betaine, is a group of three methyl molecules bonded to a glycine molecule. In 1950, scientists found that it performs a similar function in the body as vitamin B12.
TMG can be formed from choline by oxidation in the liver. However, much of the available choline is used for other processes in the body. Think of: the formation of phosphatidylcholine (membrane component), sphingomyelin and the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.
Convenient powder form
Because many people take higher doses of TMG for a long time, we have the handy powder packaging. Besides being easier, it is also a lot cheaper!
