With Phospholipids mix
Astaxanthin is a fat-soluble substance. This means that it needs fat to be absorbed into the body. But even when there is sufficient fat, the absorption is far from 100% due to the lack of an emulsifier.
An emulsifier, such as the phosphatidylcholine found in our diet, improves and accelerates the 'dissolution' of astaxanthin in fat/oil.
