Taurine 1000 mg

Taurine is an amino acid that can be produced by the body from cysteine. Taurine is found everywhere in the human body. Taurine is mainly found in protein-rich animal foods, such as meat, fish, shellfish, poultry and eggs.

Milk and milk products are less rich in taurine. Taurine does not occur in vegetable protein: beans and nuts do not contain taurine, but do contain methionine and cysteine, which can be converted into taurine in the body.
