Methylcobalamin lozenges

Methylcobalamin, like cyanocobalamin, is a form of vitamin B12. The big difference, however, is that the methyl form is the active form as needed by the body. It doesn't need to be activated and remains longer in the body. This form can also be better stored by the body. Oral administration of this form of vitamin B12 is the most effective way for high vitamin B12 intake.

Prevent deficiencies

Vitamin B12 is needed for the production of red blood cells and for proper nervous system function. Vitamin B12 is found only in animal products, such as milk, dairy products, meat, cold cuts, fish and eggs. In people who use little or no animal products, such as vegans, there is a high risk of vitamin B12 deficiency. Gastrointestinal infections and conditions in which the production of stomach acid is reduced may also have reduced absorption of vitamin B12 through the gut.

No chance of overdose

The risk of adverse effects from too much vitamin B12 is very small. No unwanted effects have been reported in people who took too much vitamin B12 for long periods of time. The body ensures that too much vitamin B12 is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract into the body.
