Good absorbable Vitamin B12 - Methylcobalamin lozenges
Methylcobalamin, like cyanocobalamin, is a form of vitamin B12. The big difference, however, is that the methyl form is the active form as needed by the body. It doesn't need to be activated and will last longer in the body. This form can also be better stored by the body. Oral administration of this form of vitamin B12 is the most effective way for high vitamin B12 intake.
Prevent deficiencies
Vitamin B12 is needed for the production of red blood cells and for proper nervous system function. Vitamin B12 is only found in animal products, such as milk, dairy products, meat, cold cuts, fish and eggs. People who use little or no animal products, like vegans, have a higher risk of vitamin B12 deficiency. Also, in cases of gastrointestinal infections and conditions in which the production of stomach acid is decreased, the absorption of vitamin B12 by the intestine may be impaired.
No risk of overdose
The risk of adverse effects of too much vitamin B12 is very small. There are no known side effects in people who took too much vitamin B12 for a long time. The body makes sure that it doensn't absorb too much vitamin B12.
