Since 1743
Jacob Hooy is a Dutch company with a long history: founded by Jacob Hooy, in Amsterdam in 1743. Hooy had a herb stand on the Nieuwmarkt, at a time when the trade in herbs and spices was still an important economic factor in Amsterdam.
In the 21st century, Jacob Hooy is based in Limmen in North Holland and still trades herbs and spices, as well as teas, essential oils, dietary supplements and CBD oils.

Smeets & Graas started selling Jacob Hooy's CBD products in 2023. In oil and capsule form and a number of care products.

The CBD products, which Jacob Hooy has had in its assortment since 2015, are all certified with the CAN hallmark.
