Berberine Phytosome is patented as Berbevis®. In this special phytosome form, the berberine extract is linked to phosphatidylcholine. This ensures increased absorbability, bioavailability and higher plasma levels in the blood and tissues. The phytosome compound also contains grape seed extract that protects the gastrointestinal tract from possible irritation that berberine could cause.
