In recent years, in addition to producing single mushroom products, GOBA has worked to formulate medicinal mushroom blends to provide more powerful support to consumers in certain areas than is possible with single mushroom products.

Also, the challenge was to make the mixes suitable for a broad spectrum of purposes. A number of different mixes were developed, each with powerful properties in its own area.

MycoMedica is a Slovenian company focused entirely on scientific research into the medicinal effects of mushrooms and the cultivation, processing and production of mushroom nutritional supplements. The founder/owner Dr. Andrej Gregori has had a fascination with nature and in particular plants since childhood. From that time he has been collecting seeds and plants from all over the world.

His interest in mushrooms made him decide to devote his studies at the University of Ljubljana entirely to this. Here he obtained his PhD at the Biotechnical Faculty and obtained his doctorate on the topic "the influence of new cultivation technologies on mushrooms, their yield and medicinal contents"

Under the name GOBA, MycoMedica produces high-quality mushroom products in the form of teas, tinctures, capsules and powders. In doing so, MycoMedica uses laboratory-controlled cultivation methods newly developed by Dr. Gregori himself.

Dr. Andrej Gregori is a member of numerous international working groups and scientific committees and research groups concerning mushrooms and is involved in scientific research on mushrooms and their medicinal applications.

The organic certified company is located in Podkoren, Slovenia, in a pure mountain environment, and is under the control of health authorities. Only organic materials are used in the cultivation and processing of the products. Also, MycoMedica uses pure spring water and organic residual waste is reused.

All this guarantees the quality of the 100% organic mushroom products. As a result, the company has become a leading producer of therapeutically suitable mushroom products with customers around the world of both bulk and finished products. The organic certification is also registered in the Netherlands with and under the control of the SKAL.
