Liposomal resveratrol
Resveratrol is a substance found in red grapes and is a well-known and powerful antioxidant.
Only 2% of oral resveratrol is absorbed as pure resveratrol. Resveratrol is metabolized in the small intestine to resveratrol glucuronide and resveratrol sulfate, making it possible to obtain approximately 50% of the oral dose that is absorbed by active transport.
Due to the liposomal encapsulation, this 2% absorption is increased.
