Beware of Bad Protein

The majority of all whey proteins available for sale in stores or online shops contain unhealthy additives such as refined sugars and artificial sweeteners (aspartame, sorbitol, saccharin, acesulfame-K, sucrose), soy, non-organic eggs, wheat gluten, preservatives and inferior proteins.

But pure whey protein powders are also often of much lower quality than the raw material, milk, itself. There are different production methods that can be used to produce whey protein. And these different methods yield different quality whey powder.

Good quality protein contributes to the growth of muscle mass and to the maintenance of normal bones.

Fraud with Protein Powders

There are also companies (large and very well-known) that add loose amino acids to their supposedly pure whey powder. This makes the protein content appear higher in tests than it actually is.
