Hawthorn, scientifically known as Crataegus, is a supplement available in capsules and tablets. It is well known for its medicinal properties, specifically for cardiovascular function.

In supplements, extracts of the two hawthorn varieties with the Latin names Crataegus oxyacantha and Crataegus laevigata are used. These have similar effects.
