We have products with only Glucosamine, products in which Glucosamine is combined with Chondroitin and substances such as MSM and Hyaluronic Acid and broad Formula products that also contain Glucosamine.
Glucosamine Complex
Glucosamine is an amino sugar that can be synthesized in the body itself from sulfur and glucose. Glucosamine is a main component of larger molecules such as glycoproteins, glycolipids and glycosaminoglycans.
Chondroitin
Chondroitin is often added to Glucosamine to enhance its action. Ideally, a 1:2 ratio, i.e. 2 times as much Glucosamine as Chondroitin
MSM
Also MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is often found in Glucosamine products. MSM is organically bound sulfur: the form in which sulfur occurs naturally in all living organisms and is biologically active. Sulfur is found primarily in protein-rich tissues. Among other things, it is a constituent of connective tissue, red blood cells, muscle, skin, hair and nails and of the sulfur-containing amino acids methionine and cysteine.
