What is Calendula?
Calendula officinalis is also known as Marigold. Originally from the Mediterranean region, the plant has since spread throughout the world for its graceful beauty and powerful properties.
This vibrant plant, belongs to the composite family and has flowers in shades ranging from bright yellow to deep orange. The name calendula is derived from the Latin word "calends. This means the first day of the month and refers to its tendency to bloom profusely throughout the growing season.
