KSM-66® is the only broad-spectrum ashwagandha root extract with a high concentration of withanolides. The goal of the manufacturer Ixoreal Biomed was to create an ashwagandha extract with a high concentration of active withanolides, but in the ratio as originally present in the ashwagandha root.
Indeed, by far the majority of ashwagandha research has been done with ashwagandha root, which has a different composition than ashwagandha leaf. And also, the root contains much less of the bad withaferin A.
However, it was not easy to maintain the natural proportions while sufficiently increasing the concentration of active ingredients. Consequently, the development took a total of 14 years.
But with good results: KSM-66® is currently the best researched ashwagandha extract on the market. And the results of the scientific research are very positive.
KSM-66® ashwagandha is also 100% organic and Non-GMO certified. And it is produced without the use of alcohol or other chemical solvents.
