.When iodized bread is not on the menu, an important source of iodine is missing from the diet. Fish and shellfish are also important sources of iodine. In fact, fish is one of the most important natural sources known. However, to get 150 mcg of iodine per day from fish, one must eat at least 150 grams of fish per day.
