Composition
Calcium pyruvate from AOV contains a buffered form of pyruvic acid, a substance that is formed in the body from glucose, and other substances. Because pyruvic acid itself is not very stable and can cause gastrointestinal problems, this dietary supplement uses calcium pyruvate. This is a stable non-acidic compound.
Pyruvate occurs in the body as a natural product of the digestive process. It is also found in various foods, such as cheese, red wine, red apples and dark beer.
Dosage
